Just Received Your Sake? Do This.

So you’ve just received your sake. What now? Here is the most important step to preserve its quality:

Refrigerate Immediately
Most premium sake, especially unpasteurised sake, are sensitive to heat. As soon as it arrives, pop it in the fridge to keep it fresh. Aim for between 0-5°C.

Store Sake at 0 to 5 degrees celcius.

Keep It Upright
Store sake standing up. This limits oxidation and keeps it from interacting with the cap, which can alter the flavour.

Store Sake standing to reduce oxidation.

After Opening?
Once opened, your sake should stay in the fridge and still stand upright. For best taste, drink it within a week.

That’s it. No rituals. Just cold and upright for maximum freshness. Enjoy it the way the sake brewers intended.
