DESCRIPTION:
Tosa Kinzo Tokubetsu Junmaishu is a Gold award winner at the Sake Competition Junmaishu category in 2025.
The team from Toyonoume used the Cosmos Deep Sea Yeast to create this unique sake. The yeast had to survive several months at depths of 6,200 metres, with a 1 in 300 million chance of survival. Toyonoume are one of the first sake makers to create sake with this yeast.
This sake has a melon and banana aroma with a dry and underlying sweetness. It's food friendly and it goes particularly well with meat dishes like Yakitori and Karaage.
