The Toyonoume Junmaishu Seme Blend is a blend of only "seme" (the strongest flavoured part of the mash that is subjected to the most pressure during pressing).

The team at Takagi Shuzo gave this sake extra patience, to allow the aroma and flavour to build up, resulting in a mellow aroma and rich flavour that differs from the traditional Toyonoume style.

The rich umami and complex taste profile makes it a great pairing sake for tastier dishes like Unagi (eel) and well-seasoned meat dishes. You can enjoy this sake chilled and when it’s closer to room temperature.
